Be part of the vision

Every five years or so, the Jacob Edwards Library undertakes to update the Long Range Plan. The process for 2010 has already begun! During the month, two focus groups were convened to discuss library services in this community. This was a visioning process where participants were asked to dream ‘big’ about services they would like to have, regardless of how impossible or unrealistic this may be.

As a result, we have heard some of the voices in our community. We are asking for your help, especially if there are reasons why you do not use the library now. Please take a few moments to write your thoughts about what YOU would like to see available at Jacob Edwards Library.

If you can answer or comment on questions like a) What difference does/can a library make and b) Why would anyone want to live in our community ten years from now, that would give us the information we need to plan for the future.
